This year's issue of the Game Awards has succeeded in establishing an impressive new record in terms of audience.
The show full of music performances during the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, prominent guests, award ceremony and game fillings reached 85 million livestream calls through video and social media platforms worldwide.
Thus, the last year's record of 83 million spectators was exceeded by two million. Opposite the show from 2019 (45.2 million spectators), the audience numbers could even be doubled almost.
The official YouTube stream of the event also records a new record. This comes to a total of 1.75 million hours of reproduction time, which represents an increase of 14 percent compared to the previous year.
In addition, the number of fan votes submitted for the various award votes increased by 27 percent to 23.2 million votes cast.
