Dinosaur Survival Horror DINO TRAUMA announced. The first PS -style FPS affected by Dino Crisis etc.
developer phobia interactive announced on November 2 the survival horror FPS Dino Trauma . The compatible platform is a PC (Steam), and the distribution time is undecided.
Dino TRAUMA is a single play work under development under the 1990s survival horror games such as Dino Crisis, TURK, DOOM and Quake. In particular, it seems to be inspired by Dinocrysis and Turk, and in this work, dinosaurs appear as enemies. Players will fight for survival with guns as weapons.
This work is a three-chapter tailoring set in a secret research institute in Eastern Europe, and each chapter contains multiple stages. Six stages will be prepared in Chapter 1. Each stage also introduces modern elements, referring to the stage design of the 1990s work mentioned above. Some published screenshots have a display that seems to have acquired multiple key cards, and they are likely to proceed with the game while searching for the necessary key items.
In the trailer, game play at devastated facilities will be shown. Various types of dinosaurs attack players in a small room or outdoors. Wing dragons flying in the sky and species like Presto Taurus appear in underwater areas. In addition to dinosaurs, it seems that there are enemies like monsters that are monster.
Player's weapons include firearms such as semi-automatic pistols, submachine guns, and shotguns, as well as crossbows, rocket launchers, and grenades. Teaser gun seems to be effective for underwater enemies. The trailer suggests that it will be a high-paced game play that will respond to dinosaurs that attack one after another, and this area may be developed with a conscious game style such as DOOM.
In addition, this work seems to be based on the work of the 1990s. A low-resolution 3D graphic reminiscent of games in the first PlayStation era, including Dino Crisis, makes you feel nostalgic.
This work is scheduled to be distributed early, and at the start of the release, it will be recorded with the 1st Chapter 6 stage completed. Difficulty can be selected from 5 steps. It is said that five types of weapons can be found in the stage, and nine enemies are recorded. There is also a game mode called endless mode. As the development is promoting, it is planned to add further areas, weapons, enemies, etc. and complete the remaining two chapters. It is said that the game mode will also be added.
DINO TRAUMA is being developed for PC (Steam). The start of early access distribution is undecided, but the official release time is guided in the third quarter of 2023. By then, distribution will start.
