The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience, already on PSN and Xbox Live, but you can not play yet
A few days ago we tell you that Matrix Awakens had been filtered, and that everything was going to be a technical demonstration of Unreal Engine 5. Well, we already have news.
The Awakening of Matrix, an experience in Unreal Engine 5, is now available at PlayStation Network and Xbox Live — for PS5 and Xbox Series respectively. The content can already be downloaded in such systems but, at the moment, it is not active to play, discover or whatever they are doing.
In fact, when starting, a scene appears with the mythical Matrix code screen, and a countdown, which ends next day 10. As they have officially counted, everything will be revealed in the Gala The Game Awards, which On Thursday night to Friday (Spanish time).
In the event Keanu Reeves will be and Carrie-Anne Moss, protagonists of the well-known movies and the next Matrix Resurrections, which premieres in a few weeks to restart the cinematographic universe created by the Sisters Wazowski.
A teaser has also been published in which Keanu Reeves appears a few seconds to say, how do we know what is real? With a sequence in which everything points to the fact that it is not the real actor, but a model based on him made with Unreal Engine 5.
It will then be when we go out of doubt about what this interactive experience will offer. Maybe it's just a video to show what the UE5 engine is capable, or maybe there will also be segments with active gameplay. We'll see what a pill it is to choose.
