Van der Linde wins in Hockenheim

Le Gumball 3000 est un rassemblement clandestin international annuel qui se déroule généralement au printemps ou à l été sur le réseau routier à travers l Europe, les États-Unis et l Asie sous forme de rallye. L organisation prévoit également des étapes sur circuits fermés,, halte dans des hôtels de luxe ou soirées alcoolisées. La participation est payante : en 2018 ils se montaient à 67 000 € pour les nouveaux engagés et 56 000 € pour les habitués[réf. nécessaire]. Cela réserve la participation à des personnes fortunées qui la pratiquent au volant de voitures de sport d exception[réf. nécessaire].

The South African van der Linde won the 13th seasonal run of the DTM and returned in the title race. The Audi pilot continued on Saturday on the Hockenheimring and displaced the so far leading New Zealand Liam Lawson from the top. Both now have 188 points in the account, van der Linde has three races before the end of the season but more victories.

Lawson loses third place in the final round

Only in the final round Lawson slipped from the third in the fourth place, thus he lost the lead in the overall standings. Second, the future Formula 1 driver Alex Albon (Thailand), in third place followed the former DTM champion Mike Rockenfeller from Neuwied.

On Sunday (13.30 pm / Sat.1), the 14th season race in Hockenheim, before the next weekend takes place on the Norisring in Nuremberg the season finale.
